Sade Oyinade is a writer, producer and director based in Los Angeles. She has a background in reality television, documentaries, and film. She began Flower Ave. Films, named for her childhood street, in 2010 while producing her first short film Who Do You Know? She wrote and directed her second short film Yemi's Dilemma, which became an official selection of the 26th Annual Pan African Film Festival. She's currently producing the mental health-related comedy series "HeadSpace".
Sade most recently served as the Co-Executive Producer of the award-winning docu-series "Unsung" and "Unsung Hollywood". In her time with the show, she produced over two dozen episodes including profiles on artists like Rick James, Billy Dee Williams, Xscape and Charlie Murphy. Through Unsung, she's had the opportunity to help create an unprecedented visual library of Black music and entertainment.
Sade's credits also include the hit BET docu-series "American Gangster", "Celebrity Crime Files" and NBC's "Starting Over".
Under Flower Ave. Films, Sade is currently working on a feature film adaptation of the popular novel "Better Than I Know Myself". Sade is from Silver Spring, MD and is based in Los Angeles.
Deshawn Plair is an actress, producer and director with experience in television, film and digital media. In 2018, she joined forces with Nate Parker as one of the producers of his new digital series, “Baselines”. She was also a technical producer during the live production of the 2018 African American Film Critics Association Awards. In 2017, she co-produced the short film Yemi's Dilemma, an official selection of the 26th Annual Pan African Film Festival. She's currently producing the mental health-related comedy series "HeadSpace".
Previously, Deshawn served as the Production Supervisor on the award-winning TV-One docu-series "Unsung" and "Unsung Hollywood", contributing to profiles on artists like Hill Harper, Marvin Sapp and Charlie Murphy. She also directed the series "Dating Chronicles of Phoebe Miller".
Deshawn's credits also include "Shaunie's Home Court" for VH1, BET’s docu-series “Inside the Label” and the TV One docu-series "Celebrity Crime Files". She is currently in pre-production on the feature adaptation of the Virginia DeBerry and Donna Grant novel "Better Than I Know Myself'. Deshawn hails from Kalamazoo, MI and is based in Los Angeles.
